Artist's Thoughts /Technical Info: 'Using Audacity on my PC, I lace my sound with animals getting up in the morning, altered stokes on the piano or drums, some bells. Whatever suits me at the time. The alligator sounds come from Pamela Marshall's field recordings in Coral Gables, Fl.'
Artist's Info: I was raised in El Paso, Texas and Martinez, California, Concord, California. After being a housewife and a mother to 2, I went to music school at the university of Idaho at Moscow. After 4 years there I moved to Washington, DC. When I moved to Wellfleet, Cape Cod, my music seemed to leap out of the form and write itself. Although I'd been playing in restaurants since my 4th year of music, Ultimately, the composing took over. I write for small ensemble as well as solo piano and I write pop as well and jazz, as well as string orchestra. My cello – viola piece, “Southern River”won an award from the International Alliance for Women in Music.
